Elijah is our dream buck. Not only is his pedigree packed with influential and proven relatives, but he is also a big teddy bear who loves attention. Even during rut (yuck).
We have long admired Eliza after seeing her photo as a 2 yr old and when Lauren Action decided to rebreed Elixer to Eliza's Sire, we jumped at the chance to reserve a buck. Lucky for us Elixer filled that order. Getting him flown out during Covid was a nightmare but Lauren and John got it done with Elijah arriving safe and sound.
Our 1st Elijah kids arrived in 2022 and boy does he stamp his offspring consistently in type and personality, even when used on unrelated does. We might freshen a few for the Fall 2023 or with the 2024 National Show being in Louisville, all might be freshened for it instead. Either way, the levelness on the move, wide rumps, beautiful front ends, the width between the hocks and pretty eschuteons have us excited!
His 1st 2 yearling daughters freshened in 2023. If the rest are as pretty as these 2, we will have a HUGE problem in sorting out who stays or goes!
